Qualified Behaviour Analyst (QBA)
This 270 hour Qualified Behaviour Analyst (QBA) course will provide you with an in-depth (a master’s level) understanding of the core knowledge of autism, principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), behaviour assessments, teaching strategies, professional supervision, and ethics in the field. All the knowledge you need to pass the QABA® online exam.
Qualified Autism Services Practitioner-Supervisor (QASP-S)
This 18 hour Qualified Autism Services Practitioner-Supervisor (QASP-S) course will provide you with a deeper (a bachelor’s level) understanding of the core knowledge of autism, principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), common teaching strategies, and ethics in the field. All the knowledge you need to pass the QABA® online exam.
Applied Behaviour Analysis Technician (ABAT)
This 40 hour Applied Behavior Analysis Technician (ABAT) course will provide you with the fundamental core knowledge of autism, principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), and commonly used intervention strategies in the field. All the knowledge you need to pass the QABA® online exam.
Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT)
Our 40 hour Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) training course will provide you with knowledge of the core principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), fundamental professional conduct and scope of practice, and commonly used intervention strategies in the field. This training program is based on the RBT Task List (2nd ed) and is designed to meet the 40-hour training requirement for RBT certification. The program is offered independent of the BACB®.
Autism Core Knowledge Course (ACK)
QABA® Board approved coursework, this 20 hour Autism Core Knowledge course meets the Autism content area requirement for the QASP-S and QBA credentials so it's perfect for professionals who only need to complete this subject to apply for these credentials. The Autism Core Knowledge (ACK) Course will give you an overview of the historical context of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and discusses the neurobiological and genetic theories of causation. The course focuses on current research, diagnostic categories, core areas of functional impact, and current diagnostic and assessment tools.
Training and Supervision Course (T&S)
QABA® Board approved coursework, this 20 hour Training and Supervision Course meets the Training and Supervision content area requirement for the QASP-S and QBA credentials so it's perfect for professionals who only need to complete this subject to apply for these credentials. The T&S course will introduce you to applications of behaviour analysis Behaviour Skills Training (BST) and the importance of systematically monitor treatment integrity. Students will learn to utilize BST to train relevant stakeholders in treatment implementation. Students will also learn to deliver effective performance feedback, and support parents and staff.
Strength-Based Parenting Program
The AEDC Strength-Based Parenting Program is a FREE interactive 30-minute online training program funded by the Department of Social Services in Australia to support parents and caregivers of children on the autism spectrum. The program was developed by ASBA lead trainer Cindy Hsiang and is available for free here at ASBA with permission from Aspiration Education and Development Clinic (AEDC) in Sydney, Australia.
